A Remarkable Kentucky coffeetree

Tree Information
Common Name: Kentucky coffeetree

Notes: This is the state champion big tree located at Ellwood Farm, part of the Fredericksburg National Military Park. It was originally nominated by Frank E. McKeever; remeasured and photographed by Jeff Kirwan in September, 2006. The tree is remarkable for its location- the site where Stonewall Jackson's arm is burried.
